What is the minimum age to rent a car?

You must be at least 25 years old and have held a driver’s license for more than two years. Certain vehicle categories may have specific requirements.


Do I need an international driver’s license?

No, your valid national driver’s license is sufficient. Copies or loss affidavits are not accepted.


Can I let a relative drive the car?

No, only drivers approved by Suntra Car may drive the vehicle. Adding a second driver is free.


Can I drive the vehicle abroad?

No, our vehicles can only be driven in Tunisia.


What should I do if my flight is delayed?

If you provided flight details during booking, our team will wait for you at no extra cost, regardless of your arrival time.


Can I receive the car outside the airport?

Yes, delivery in cities with a Suntra Car agency is free. Fees may apply for locations outside our service area.


When do I pay for my rental?

Payment is made upon vehicle pickup.


Can I pay in cash?

Yes, in dinars or other currencies. Please inform us in advance for cash payments.


Do you accept all bank cards?

Yes, but please notify us in advance.


Is a deposit required?

No, only a pre-authorization is requested on your card.


What should I check before driving off?

Inspect the vehicle and verify the reported condition. Ensure the fuel level is correct.


Is fuel included?

The vehicle is provided with a quarter tank of fuel, which must be returned at the same level. Otherwise, a 20-dinar fee will be charged.


What are the return procedures?

Inspect the vehicle with our agent, return the keys and accessories, and pay any additional fees if applicable.


Can I pick up the car at any time?

Yes, if flight details are provided, we offer 24/7 delivery in covered areas.


Can I tow another vehicle?

No, towing is prohibited.


Can I reserve a specific model or color?

Yes, subject to availability. Alternatives will be offered if necessary.


What documents do I need to provide?

A valid ID and driver’s license are required.


What should I do in case of a breakdown or accident?

Call our 24/7 assistance number, which will be provided upon delivery.


Can I return the car to a different agency?

Yes, inform us in advance. Fees may apply depending on the distance, except for rentals of 7 days or more.


Is a full tank included?

No, you receive a quarter tank of fuel and must return it at the same level.


What happens if I return the car late?

Beyond 6 hours, an additional day will be charged. An extension request is mandatory.


What does my rental include?

Unlimited mileage, maintenance, liability insurance, cleaning, oil, and a free baby seat upon request.


Are the rates reliable?

Yes, they are regularly updated based on the season.


Are the rates the same everywhere?

Yes, there are no additional fees at agencies, cities, or airports.


How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

A confirmation email with all details will be sent to you. Print it or keep it accessible.


What if I don’t receive a confirmation?

Contact us with your email address, and we’ll resend it.


Can I modify a confirmed reservation?

Yes, contact our agency with your reservation details.


What is the deductible?

It’s the portion of damages the customer is responsible for in case of an incident.


What insurance is included?

Liability and third-party insurance are included.


What happens in case of theft?

You are responsible for up to twice the deductible amount.


What if I’m responsible for an accident?

You only pay the deductible.


What if I’m not responsible for an accident?

Nothing is charged if a police report is provided.


What if I damage the vehicle?

Damage to tires, windows, mirrors, or accessories is at your expense.


Can I get an invoice for my company?

Yes, it can be provided at pickup or return, or sent by email upon request.
